Kia ora, my name is Sophie and I am excited to be bringing you this Healing Movement 2-hour Workshop.

You may already know me as an aerialist, dancer, yogi and fitness enthusiast who is all about empowering and celebrating all that we are! But I am also currently studying Dance Movement Therapy and I cannot wait to share with you some of this magical movement medicine I am learning.

What is Dance Movement Therapy (DMT)?

DMT is a holistic approach to healing that allows you to connect with yourself through movement and dance, exploring and releasing emotions through gesture and body language. Gentle, intuitive and supportive, DMT is a client-centred approach to re-connecting mind, body, and spirit.

During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn some simple techniques to take away with you to help you better self-regulate, discover and explore emotions and feelings in a safe environment, and creatively express yourself through movement.

Suitable for ALL regardless of dance expertise, fitness level, size, shape, gender, age, or flexibility. No choreography to learn, just a unique experience for the individual, moving in a way that feels authentic to you.

DMT can be used with all demographics and promotes self-awareness, self-esteem, and a safe space for the expression of feelings.

This introductory session is open to everyone – You are welcome xx

Special Early Bird Tickets are on sale until 15/09/23.
