After an interview about the reading party trend in America, Jesse and the Afternoons team decided to throw a reading party on the cosy couches at Brothers Brewery in Mt Eden.
Arrive anytime from 6pm if you want to have a pre-event drink or meal, and the reading party will kick off with an introduction from Jesse just before 7pm. Then all you have to do is read a book of your choice and have some low-key interaction with someone sitting near you. The official part will wrap up around 8:15 - the venue will close at 9pm.
Tickets are $10, which includes your first house wine, beer or soft drink.
