Mangakino Easter Event and Raft Race

The day starts with a short Easter service at the Lake front at 9.00am. This is followed by children's colouring in, old fashioned games like sack races, gumboot toss, egg and spoon etc and of course an Easter Egg hunt. The Easter bunny makes an appearance at 10.30 ish and of course comes with chocolate eggs. Back to the games!

In the meantime between 11.00 and 11.30 the rafts arrive to check in, a safety briefing at 12.00 and the raft race itself at 12.30 sharp. The winning raft gets the engraved oar for a year and $50, there is a $100 prize for best dressed raft and a spot prize draw of $200.

Come and have some good old fashioned fun and laughs. This is a free event organised by the Mangakino Community Festival Committee.
