An Association of Friends of the Otago Museum Talk

The Friends of the Otago Museum invite you to join them over complimentary tea and coffee for their July lunchtime talk.

Bring your lunch and listen to Helen Frizzell as she discusses the Friends’ Elders' Oral History Project, their gift to the Otago Museum’s 150th celebrations.

Hear from Helen as she explains the project from research to completion: how it works, its ongoing nature, and what oral history interviews can add to the historical record.

Helen will be joined by interviewee Margery Blackman who will speak about her experience of going through an oral history interview, and what it has drawn out from her memory banks.

12.15pm, Tuesday 16 July
Friends' Room, Third Floor
