Come and visit the World War Two Fortress in Karori and catch a glimpse of unique wartime history.
Self-guided tours of one hour, a DVD of how a huge 9.2 inch gun fired, and lots of photos. Holiday makers in Wellington particularly welcome and good family entertainment. Bring a torch for some fun, but no jandals please- sensible footwear required.
Moderate admission prices but no EFTPOS. Please bring cash only.
Limited vehicle parking at the top of the hill - why not walk up from the base of Wrights Hill Road.
