Capital Blues is excited to kick off the new year with The 888 Band live at Jack Hackett’s on Friday 31 Jan 20120 as they pay tribute to the modern classic blues album Talk To Your Daughter by Robben Ford.

The 888 band members are:
- Geoff Hern, bass guitar, vocalist, song writer, son of world famous ‘Queen of the NZ banjo’ royal inducted country hall of fame artist Jenny Blackadder!

- Andrew Tiki Richardson, drums and vocals, son of NZ famous big band leader of the 60s Don Richardson.

- Dean Hunter prodigy guitarist extraordinaire!

- Michael Stirling Petrie guitarist, singer, son of Stu Petrie legendary session bassist vocalist with Captain Custard post Quincey Conserve Group.

The 888 Band are a well-seasoned quartet with a repertoire crossing country rock with funk through to anthem ballads, creating a unique spin on many well-known classics, all guaranteed to entertain in any situation!
