The Ranch Bar & Grill Te Anau Rodeo

The 53rd annual Ranch Bar & Grill Te Anau rodeo is being held beside Lake Te Anau during the Christmas holidays.

Main event start time is 1:00pm, though depending on entries there could be action with slacks starting from 11:00am

Come along to watch steer wrestling, barrel racing, bareback, saddle bronc, rope & tie and the hugely popular bull ride.

Feature novelty event "monkey on a rope" After the bareback an event that will get the whole family laughing, cowboys and cowgirls working together in a speed event.
There will be double banking, swinging from ropes and turning barrels all against the clock!

There is a licenced booth (no BYO sorry), plenty of food stalls and activities on site for the children throughout the day.

To find us follow the gravel road from the boat harbour around to the rodeo grounds where there is plenty of parking available in the paddock.
