Underwire

Wellington rock band Underwire started playing their original songs back in 2010. Featuring members from such diverse Wellington bands as Wazzo Clash, Shanaky and Head like a Hole, Underwire play like they mean it, with a distinctly fun, alt-rock sound. They have performed at Wellington venues like Bodega, Meow, San Fran and festivals over the years, their first EP recording Buzz Around Now (2011), is available on Bandcamp.

After a three year break, members Johnny Mills, Jane Brimblecombe and Mark Roxburgh have regrouped to perform songs written both together and separately. Backed up by powerful Mark Hamill on drums, plus the new and talented Steve Tremewan on bass.

In support "The Goats" deliver some of good old fashioned four on the floor rock and roll, with a blues inspired mix of originals and covers.

Come join us in celebrating the end of this year at the Newtown Sports Bar and, in the spirit of Xmas it's Koha entry!
