Arohanui Hospice

Hearts and Homes is a biennial Arohanui Hospice fundraising event, this year taking place on 12 and 13 November 2021.

This year the event is showcasing some Rangitīkei’s finest homes and gardens. The tour offers a selection of urban, lifestyle and rural properties - ranging from historic period homes to modern builds. There are some beautiful hidden gems waiting to be explored in the Rangitīkei area.

The rural tour will guide event attendees around a selection of 9 homes, each styled and offering fantastic areas to explore on each property. Styling is unique to each home and is undertaken by a mix of homeowners, volunteers, floral art clubs and professional florists. A gorgeous rural pop-up café, Market and Café stop with up to 22 stalls and finally the Hearts and Homes event hub at a yet to be finalised location.

For the first time in its history, Hearts and Homes locations will include 6 self drive home locations, 2 market stalls and a bus tour - with 3 of the 9 gorgeous homes viewed over a 2 hour bus excursion. The “bus tour” will not only allow attendees to relax and enjoy the rural surroundings between the locations but also keep event-goers safe by avoiding significant volumes of traffic trying to access the homes located on SH1.

Tickets available end of August.

For more information on the Hearts and Homes event visit the Hearts and Homes website or call Arohanui Hospice on (06) 356 6606.
