BA5 - Basestation

Basestation is the largest business-focused coworking space in Tauranga and was founded in 2014. Our founders had a vision that coworking would help combine the productivity and professionalism of an office space with a sense of community that brings entrepreneurs together.

As a result of COVID-19 we are seeing a surge in coworking as businesses and entrepreneurs rethink their work environments around the world. A 2020 study on coworking trends found that the number of coworking spaces worldwide is set to double by 2024. The study estimates that the number of people using this flexible way of working will increase to five million during the next four years.

Basestation is proud to be a member of the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce and has been leading coworking in the region. We continue to champion and support our business and entrepreneur community through resources and knowledge sharing by providing flexible hot-desks, offices, meeting rooms, and events space; as well as enabling meaningful social connections.
