Featuring:
Guardian Singles
Gaining a reputation for explosive live shows and selling out their latest self titled album, celebrated NZ band Guardian Singles are one the best live bands you will see. Guardian Singles were also one of a small group of NZ bands to play the GonerFest Virtual (Memphis, USA). As an American reviewer stated "When Guardian Singles took the stage at Virtual Gonerfest my jaw dropped from the first note. Guardian Singles has me wanting to fly out to New Zealand." High praise indeed!

Guardian Singles are NZ supergroup made up of the talented Fiona Campbell (Vivian Girls, Coolies), Thom Burton (SoccerPractise, Moppy), Yolanda Fagan (Na Noise, Echo Ohs) and Durham Fenwick (Green Grove). The band is currently on a 10 date national tour and we are super excited to have them play a free show for Saw Wave!

Emily Edrosa
Multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter Emily Edrosa (Street Chant) recently returned to NZ from Los Angeles. During her time in L.A she crafted some beautifully personal songs. The songs landed in the hands of legendary mixer and producer John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.) and later finalised by Emily in her studio. The songs have become her latest album release - Another Wave is Coming. Emily Edrosa is known for her great live performances! We are super stoked to have her play Saw Wave!

Pillcutter
A mysterious local supergroup of sorts featuring the talented Cilla McIntosh (vocals) and Alex (guitar) from Contenders. Who you may have seen at last year's Saw Wave concert! But the talent keeps going with bandmates Emily and Kelly making up the rest of the awesome Pillcutter!
The band has quickly built a reputation as one heck of great live band and recently played Neil Roberts Day. Pillcutter is that band everyone asks "have you seen them yet?" And you can at Saw Wave!

Many thanks to these awesome folk for supporting live original music!
Hamilton City Council, Creative Communities Scheme, CBD Events, Trust Waikato and Wel Energy Trust.

Saw Wave music concert is part of an awesome line up for a Super Saturday of events including Grrrlfest and Boon Street Art Festival!
