A street-party of epic proportions.
“Taste Hastings” is just that, an opportunity to get a taste of great local businesses and products from our bustling little City ( and District!) A night of food, wine, live music and late-night shopping, come on down to discover new faces and places, and celebrate the start of Blossom Festival weekend. We’re taking over Heretaunga Street “East Block” so you can explore kerb-to-kerb without the traffic and enjoy our fabulous public spaces at your leisure.
The party includes 20+ pop-up wineries, food trucks in Albert Square, Live music from Tropical Downbeat Orchestra and DJ Lil'B, mini-golf and the Flock Events Street Lounge to chill out in.
Don’t forget your dosh to indulge in some late-night shopping from the unique retailers you always wish you had more time to peruse, or step inside one of the restaurants and bars for dinner and a drink.
Entry is free with wine tokens sold on the night to enjoy wine by the taste or glass. $2.50 per token. (wine glasses to take home can be bought for $2.50) . E.g $10 gets you 3 wine tastes and a glass!
