Greg started as Chief Executive Officer of Air New Zealand in February 2020. Having navigated the airline through the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic, Greg is leading a strategy for Air New Zealand to revive and then thrive while delivering on its purpose to connect New Zealanders to each other and New Zealand to the world. This will include growing the domestic network, optimising the international network and making progress towards the airline’s goal to be carbon zero by 2050.

Greg joined the airline from Walmart U.S where he was Chief Executive Officer from 2014 to 2019. He was responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the company’s 4,600 stores and more than 1 million staff.
