Collaboration between Te Whānau a Rangiwhakaahu Hapū, Northland Regional Council and the Department of Conservation

Whānau fun day and dune planting at Matapouri beach from 11am.

Join us for a day of fun and planting of native plants in the dunes:
- kōrero about the rohe and its natural features
- fun, games, sand castle competition (adult and kids) with prizes
- free Sausage sizzle and shared lunch: bring a plate and some kai (if you are able).

Bring: water, sun / rain clothes / protection, good footwear, spade and gardening gloves if you have them, good mood, whānau and friends, some kai if you are able.
In case of adverse weather, the event will be postponed to the following day (SEPTEMBER 11).

Meet at the end of Morrison road in Matapouri, or directly on the beach!

This event is organised by Te Whānau a Rangiwhakaahu Hapū, the Northland Regional Council and the Department of Conservation.

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to September 11.
