Come explore the Scape Public Art Season 2022 artworks with Managing Curator Jamie Hanton.
On these special free guided curator’s walking tours, you will get unique insights into each of the eight season artworks from the curator as you enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of central Christchurch.
Beginning with Eddie Clemens’ dynamic, cinema-inspired artwork on Armagh Street and finishing with Jo Burzynska's multi-sensory installation in the Botanic Gardens, this guided art experience will give you background information on the artwork and artists, as well as an inside perspective on the production process and Jamie’s vision for the season.
The walk starts outside The Piano and covers approximately 4km. Allow 1.5 hours and please wear comfortable footwear.
