A message from the Tongan Society of South Canterbury:

Support Tonga! Red & White Wednesday - 9 February 2021 – Workplace Fundraiser Across South Canterbury

We are fundraising for transport costs for 3 shipping containers to Tonga from South Canterbury to be distributed to our local Kāinga’s (community) families.

We are inviting workplaces, businesses, schools, anyone… all to show their support by wearing Red and White or Tongan / Island attire and run a collection/donation (akin to Gumboot Friday or Anti-Bullying Day).

We would love to receive PHOTOS of you all dressed up so we can share your support with our Tongan community on our Facebook Page!

We also have a Give a Little Page (currently being moderated) if anyone can share it too.

We are grateful for any support as it’s really hard being over here unable to see our families and loved ones (during COVID too) but this way we know we can get necessities and supplies to them. ❤
