Tararua Cinematheque wraps up November at The Regent Pahiatua with a celebration of The Godfather, the greatest gangster movie ever made and arguably the greatest film ever produced.
Brando, Pacino, Keaton, Duval, Caan, and Cazale light up the screen as Francis Ford Coppola directs them and this picture to perfection. Nominated for 11 Academy Awards, winner of Best Picture, and #2 on AFI's list of Greatest Movies of All Time, there’s no better time or way to see The Godfather than with us on 27 November.
There will be an original overture, a historical introduction to the film, and a discussion afterward for those who want to know more.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students of all ages. All monies raised go to restoration projects at The Regent Pahiatua.
