The Māra Kai o te Hapori are doing an autumn pruning workshop, teaching people how to care for their fruit trees and orchards. This means there will be lots of bendy sticks that we can use for crafts!

Come along and meet up at Anō Anō at 4pm sharp and learn to make yourself a wreath or crown from fruit tree prunings, then we’ll go on a wee hīkoi through some of our local parks and gardens to find pieces of ngahuru nature to weave into our autumn creations.

Back at Anō Anō we’ll have warm spiced apple juice and cookies to warm us back up as we weave in any final pieces of wool, buttons or other bits and bobs to complete our works of autumn art!

Message to let us know if you'll be coming. We appreciate a koha of $5-10, or timecredits are also welcome.
