Calling all street dance lovers! We’re teaming up with Aotearoa’s hottest hip-hop and street dance collective, Projekt Team, to bring you some of the biggest and baddest freestyle names in the country.

Biggie & Smalls is an epic show of street dance fun for the whole whānau. Join in the workshop one night – and then show off your skills at the all-style dance battle the next.

Everything about it is impromptu… a random selection of hip-hop music, randomly paired Biggie and Smalls teams and freestyle, improvised movement. And the best part? You’re either the dancer or the judge.

This is an awesome opportunity for new and emerging freelance dancers to enter the battlefield, with a Biggie guiding the way! Audience members will judge the battle rounds to determine who will be crowned the Biggie & Smalls Champions of the 2023 Tauranga Arts Festival!
