Jazz On Your Feet

The Manawatu Jazz Club Swing Big Band proudly presents the "Jazz on your feet" music and dance evening on the 15th September 2023 at On Stage Manawatu.
The first event of the 26th May 2023, part of the Manawatu International Jazz & Blues Festival, saw a large, cheerful audience of all ages fill the venue and spill on the dance floor, shuffling along to good vibes and groovy tunes. Following the success of the event, the MJC Swing Big Band is hosting a second edition. This will feature a new set list including jazz and swing classics, as well as adaptations of modern hits, blues, soul, pop and rock 'n roll covers to suit all tastes, interpreted by several singers. Tickets are $15 at the door. Bring your own food and drinks to be shared and consumed at the venue to enjoy a full-on party atmosphere. Tables and chairs set around the dance floor.
