We will show you our favourite easy accessible species to forage and share thoughts on living a richer life!

Meet your hosts: Hadd and Ari.

Ari has a degree in architecture from Siberia, Russia. She grew up with two grandmothers who taught her most of the arts and crafts she knows today. Living in a remote land fostered her respect for natural resources.
Hadd is a local hunter-gatherer, who enjoys all things wild and natural. Te Ati Awa he also has some affinity with stone and carving.
Your host team is a supercharged fusion of natural resources knowledge from Siberia to the South Seas!

Recycling, conservation, sustainability.
Te Reo sums it in the word - Kaitiakitanga. Everything we do in life has to be done sustainably, casting thought for the future.

We believe that our future depends much on our kids' knowledge, so if you want to bring a kid alone - it's free! if you can summon a teenager along - you will even have a special gift to take home with you!))
Kids will observe, spend special time with you and see the wild pants in a new light.

What we will do: walk in the beautiful gardens to detect the natural edibles of this season. Allow approximately 2 hours walking.

What we will learn: how to identify edibles including seeds, mushrooms, greens and some yummy recopies for them. Learn a bit of bush craft and even do some art from wind fall!

What to bring: water bottle, snack, a bag, a notebook and a camera.

Meeting at Hagley park - location on tickets.
