Wrights Hill Fortress- Labour Day Open Day- 23.10.23

Wellington's historic Wrights Hill Fortress is open again on Labour Day for public inspection.
Bring family and friends for a look at New Zealand's wartime history.

There will be military living history displays on show, from WW2 and Vietnam.
Guide yourselves through the 620 metres of underground tunnels built to protect Wellington from enemy bombardment in World War Two.

Moderate admission prices, light refreshments for sale and excellent views from the top of the hill in Karori. Cash only please, no eftpos available. Bookings not required.

Limited car parking, please park sensibly or walk up from the bottom of Wrights Hill Road.
Stout footwear advised and bring a torch for some fun.
