2024 Arts Canterbury Art Show at The Cashmere Club

On the 10th - 11th of August 2024 more than 80 Arts Canterbury members will be exhibiting at the annual Arts Canterbury Art Show at The Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo Street, Cashmere, Christchurch. Open to the public 10am-4pm, and is just a gold coin donation on the door.

This year we are also introducing a “low sensory hour” on Sunday 11th of August between 9 - 10am with reduced noise, lighting and distractions during this time period.

This event is a fundraiser for Arts Canterbury. Arts Canterbury believe in fostering appreciation of the visual arts in Canterbury and provide support to artists who create it.

The members of Arts Canterbury come from a variety of backgrounds and differing levels of experience – from established professional full time artists, emerging artists and hobbyists across a wide spectrum of mediums and styles. Not only will you find traditional paintings and drawings on show, but also sculptures, artworks created from glass, driftwood art, sculptures, jewellery and so much more! There will definitely be something there for everyone to enjoy.

For the first time Arts Canterbury has also invited Youth Artists to exhibit in this exhibition, and are very excited to be providing this opportunity for the next generation of Canterbury artists.
