Building on the success of our July 2024 Global Youth Leadership Forum and the Waikato High School Student Model UN Assembly earlier this month, we are thrilled to present the 2024 Global Youth Leadership Forum II. From August 17th to 21st, 2024, join us for an inspiring event dedicated to celebrating diversity, fostering leadership, and paving the way for a more inclusive future. Organised by the Global SDGs Group at UNA NZ Waikato and the Global Connect Group at Rototuna High Schools, this forum aims to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and values essential for thriving in a connected world.

Event Schedule:

17th-18th August (Saturday-Sunday): MUN Conference - Step into the shoes of a country representative in a dynamic United Nations simulation. Engage in debates, craft resolutions, and collaborate with global peers to address pressing issues, sharpening your critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

19th August (Monday): Seminar - Participate in thought-provoking seminars by experts on global challenges, leadership, and cultural diversity. Acquire valuable insights and practical skills to enhance your leadership capabilities.

21st August (Wednesday): Workshop- Participate in interactive workshops designed to refine your leadership skills and cultural understanding. Engage in hands-on activities and team projects to learn effective collaboration in diverse environments. Gala - Conclude the forum with a grand gala event celebrating participants' achievements, featuring vibrant cultural performances. Forge meaningful connections with peers from various backgrounds.

Embracing Te Ao Māori, we foster an environment honouring and respecting all cultures. Join us in inspiring the next generation of leaders, celebrating diversity, and working towards a brighter, more equitable future.
