Jazz at Nara!

Tunes will be flowing on Saturday and Sunday afternoons as part of the Jazz in Martinborough festival, together with a Greek-inspired Meze sharing menu.

2.30 Saturday: The Travers Jordan Trio

Travers Jordaan is a guitarist and composer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Drawing from traditional and modern jazz sensibilities as well as folk and classical music, his own compositions describe his experience of life from the every-day to the nostalgic.

1.30 Sunday: The Lockie Bennett Trio

Lockie Bennett is a Wellington-based jazz guitar player. Bennett will be joined by pianist, Louis Thompson-Munn and upright bassist, Robert Henderson. The trio will be playing their favourite selections from the Great American Songbook. Expect George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and Leonard Bernstein.
