Show Me Shorts is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading international short film festival, that includes 100 physical screenings in 35 cinemas across New Zealand during October 2024.

The Whanau Friendly Short Films are fast becoming one of the most popular sessions at Show Me Shorts. This annual collection of short films is for children and their families to enjoy together.

Meet space travellers delighted by our world, charming robots and radio-active chickens. Hear the song of our beautiful native birds of Aotearoa, and discover unlikely friendships on the beach. This annual collection of short films for children and their families is one of the most popular sections of Show Me Shorts.

Note, this session contains a special one-off screening of Kakariki Green, a film made by students from Robertson Road School at the Show Me Shorts Filmmaking School Holiday Programme.
