Nelson Clay Week

Join Yasmin in this workshop as she demonstrates her process for creating a batch of ceramic watercolours and applying them to clay using various techniques. You'll receive guidance on using the watercolours to decorate provided textured and smooth tiles, or you're welcome to bring along your own bisqued work to adorn.

Yasmin will have watercolour kits available for purchase.

--

Attendee Requirements:
All materials for the workshop itself will be provided.
Extra tiles as well as watercolour kits will be available to purchase.
Please do bring bubble wrap and a small box to securely wrap and transport your painted tiles.
A dust mask for your own health and safety during the demonstration of making the watercolours. A hand towel.

If people want to, they can bring some own bisqued pots or test tiles. White or light coloured clays will be best (Yasmin uses Primo's mid-fire porcelain). And if you have your own favourite watercolour brushes, bring them along.
