Cadenza combines the excitement of a competitive event with the extra dimension of massed workshops, featuring an internationally-recognised choral specialist who also acts as adjudicator. This Gala concert, which involves a total of 12 secondary school choirs from across the South Island, concludes the festival by showcasing an item from each of the choirs' Cadenza repertoire and combining as a Massed Choir to sing music prepared with our adjudicator.
