Chris Melville grew up listening to the music of Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis and Ella Fitzgerald. With his warm, velvet vocal delivery he sings classic songs from an era of style and sophistication

With decades of performance experience, Chris has played for a stellar client list worldwide, Chris covers a variety of jazz genre's from background jazz and smooth sophisticated songs to deep house, rock`n`roll and upbeat dance music. Currently performing every Saturday night at SkyCity Auckland, Chris explores the funkier side of familiar songs with his jazz/funk combo.
