Every year between 2006 and 2021, Seed invited a large group of artists to work with a specified template, with past projects including wooden balls, bowls, boxes and stars. After a brief hiatus, we are delighted to return to Studio One Toi Tū this October to reinstate the tradition. This year, 24 artists have each been given 10 custom-cut plywood circle sectors and an open brief. The resulting exhibition of 240 unique artworks will celebrate the imagination and ingenuity of our community of artists. It will also present a unique opportunity to acquire an original work of art for only $120.

$12 from each piece sold will go to Seed Gallery’s ongoing charity partner, KidsCan. Through practical means, KidsCan helps disadvantaged Kiwi kids to engage in their education and reach their full potential.

Featuring Rick Allender, Stafford Allpress, Alice Alva, Kate Banazi, Helen Bankers, Tracey Black, Susan Christie, Tabatha Forbes, Alex Fulton, Nuala Gregory, Belinda Griffiths, Ben Griffiths, Evie Kemp, Wei Lun Ha, Numangatini Mackenzie, Naomi Nakama, Ainsley O'Connell, Colleen Pugh, Mark Rayner, Peter Rive, Annie Sandano, Garth Steeper, Janna van Hasselt, Sophie Watson and Sarah Williams.
