The Village Square is excited to bring you six guided walks around our historic neighbourhood, as part of Auckland Heritage Festival 2024!
Step back in time and follow the journeys made by the people of Auckland’s past. Explore Takutai Street where Bishop George Augustus Selwyn and his fellow missionaries used to tread, and stroll down Domain hill, once a site of flourishing kumara crops for local iwi. Learn about Auckland's colonial past while following the beautiful shoreline and neighbouring reserves.
