Join "Friends of Harbourview" and "Motu Manawa - Pollen Island Restoration Group" on our 12th annual round of community volunteer planting events in beautiful Harbourview-Orangihina Park on Te Atatu Peninsula. The planting will boost “fernbird friendly” habitat for native flora and fauna in this upper Waitemata Harbour coastal ecosystem.

Where: Please email to RSVP and receive directions and health & safety information.
Who: General public with a reasonable level of fitness. Suitable for ages 7+ (all children must be kept under strict parental supervision).
What to bring: Sturdy gumboots to cover wet and muddy grounds, weather protection (sun or rain), bottle of water. Spades and gloves if you have them. We will have some spades available and all plants required.

There is a community BBQ at the end before midday to celebrate your efforts! Let us know if you prefer vegetarian option.

To register your attendance and for more information please email motumanawa@gmail.com / Facebook us “Friends of Harbourview” or “Motu Manawa Restoration Group”. The exact meeting place will be emailed upon RSVP.
