Hazel Elder is a songwriter and producer who blends moody, ethereal electronics with a hard edge of raw, uncompromising noise pop. Her debut album ‘pincushion’ comes out August 23, with the first single ‘morning star’ released on July 19. Her first vocal album follows a string of beat tapes, and three drone/ambient releases under the name Thursday Decibel.
Her live show is an immersive dark fantasy, weaving sincere lyrics through a dreamscape of hypnotic beats and distortion. Supported by two Pōneke-based noise music artists (Ailing, Direct Plant Sound) this will be a night to remember - don’t miss out!

Ailing:
Transmasculine death industrial noise for degenerate freaks; sonic misery fuelled by degradation, polluted grey matter, living rot; chronic sickness manifest: No Gods No Masters

Direct Plant Sound:
auditory (de)stress from te-whanganui-a-tara - environmentalist anti fascist noise music - whatever the f*ck - screaming into the mic that hurts both the listener and performer - fun for the whole family
