"Home Land" is Ken Taylor's story. He's dedicated his whole working life to his Otago farm, but it's now wintertime and he's an 80 year old widower living alone in the farmhouse, virtually housebound, and totally reliant on his son & daughter-in-law to run the farm and tend to his needs. Ken's daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter have arrived from Auckland for this: His last weekend on the farm that's been his whole world.

Three generations are here for the difficult & heartbreaking task of uprooting Ken from his home's strikingly beautiful surroundings to an urban rest home hundreds of kilometres away. This all-too relatable play is written by master of dialogue Gary Henderson, and directed by Sian Davis: A veteran of several theatre companies & the arts in general.

Come and see our awesome cast! -
Ken: Max Golding
Graeme (son): Mark Jensen
Trish (daughter-in-law): Chloe Smith
Denise (daughter): Kate Watson
Paul (son-in-law): Andy Schmidt
Sophie (granddaughter): Madeleine Park
