Techniques You Will Learn:
Doming – More or less Exactly What It Sounds Like, Adding Concave Dome Shapes to Flat Sheet Metal. It Involves the Use of a Dome Punch or Block. Doming Doesnt Require Too Much Preparation of the Material so It Is Ideal for This Workshop. It Is Fast and Efficient to Use.

Hammering – This Is a Popular Technique in Contemporary Jewellery As It Gives Pieces a Mottled, Textured Look While Still Allowing the Metal to Keep Its Shine. Like Doming, Hammering Is Quick and Easy to Do If You Use the Right Tools.

Openwork – Openwork Describes Jewellery That Features Open or See-through Spaces in the Design. Professional Jewellers Use This Technique a Lot but with More Intricacy and Detail. In This Make Silver Earrings Workshop We Will Use a Simple Cut or Punch Method of Openwork to Create Open Spaces.
