Introduced originally to Wellington and other cities in New Zealand by the Rotary Club of Wellington, and held annually since 2009, the Jumbo Tennis fundraiser is a fun quick fire, team event over an afternoon. It’s played with oversized racquets to the same rules as Table Tennis – no experience required! Jumbo Tennis provides a great corporate opportunity for team building, hospitality, camaraderie and visible support for good causes such as Wellington Childrens Hospital.
Between 2011 and 2022 we have raised more than $500 000 which has benefitted charities such as Autism NZ, Wellington Free Ambulance, Wellington City Mission, the Malaghan Institute, Wellington Hospital and more.
This year’s event will be to support these charities:
* Wellington Childrens Hospital
* Youth Mental Wellbeing
* Tennis Central for development of junior tennis players
