Karanga ki te hapori (call to the community) is our annual Matariki exhibition at The Good The Bad, showcasing an exciting and diverse range of contemporary art by six wāhine Māori artists. The exhibition explores connection to our identity, each other, tipuna, and the land, displayed across two venues in Tāmaki – The Good The Bad in Glen Innes and the launch of its new community arts space in the heart of Panmure.

Follow us on FB and Instagram for more details about our public programme.

This exhibition is supported by Tāmaki Regeneration Company through TGTB Charitable Trust.

About The Good The Bad

The Good The Bad is an Auckland-based, not-for-profit, artist-run, community arts initiative established in 2015. It is the first art gallery in Tāmaki (Glen Innes, Panmure and Point England) providing opportunities for local artists of all ages and experience to present their art publicly and engaging the local community with meaningful arts experiences. We believe the arts should be freely and easily accessible to everyone and seek to remove barriers that may prevent access to and participation in the arts.
