Kids Poetry Day

Come along for a fun morning of poetry readings, activities, and crafts!

Writers Elena de Roo (Ring Ting Tūī), Melinda Szymanik (Lucy and the Dark), Kathryn Dove and Annelies Judson will present a selection of their poetry for kids. They will be joined by students from local schools presenting their own poetry. Between readings there will be a chance to write your own poetry, contribute to a collaborative poem, illustrate poems, create blackout poetry, and more!

The activities are aimed at 5-12 year olds but the whole family is welcome.
