The King's Birthday Bash is on Sunday, 2 June kicking off at 7.30pm. Paisley Stage are at it again! Charles has requested that NicholBates, The Pukes, Power and YesYesNo be the jesters of the court and you, his special guests. They'll be a healthy dose of British music and all sorts of British nonsense too. Monday's a holiday so what have you got to lose! YesYesNo NME called them "The best band we've never heard of....." and Rolling Stone remarked "No-one could have expected this.....". Don't miss your chance to see why they can't hold down a job and why audiences love them. They'll be serving up some British bangers and a few surprises too. POWER Blue eyed Northern Soul from the King of Liverpool - Richie Jackman and his band of fabulous fellas warm the hearts and souls of all who see them. Big bold and brassy, POWER were signed to Arista Records and Warner Chappell Music before being exported to New Zealand for dreadful behaviour. They are proof that the sound of Liverpool was no accident and c'mon.....you know they're gonna be great! The Pukes Like getting accosted by a bunch of travelling gypsies on their way home from the local pub, The Pukes belt out classics in a party vibe like no other. Not to be trusted with any responsibility, they're bound to get you in the mood for madness.. A midlife crisis set to music. NicholBates They don't come much better than this. Mark Nichol and Ian Bates have been wowing audiences for the last decade with their brilliant versions of super classics. Keeping it real, it's one guitar and one voice with a mountain of class. Get there early and don't miss them.
