Little Gardeners: A School Holiday Special

The school holidays are upon us, and our weekly volunteer session is becoming a kid-friendly activity day in the garden.

Come along into the mara with your kiddos and we'll work together, growing the next generation of green thumbs.

Tamariki-designed activities include:
- "Worms! Worms! Worms!" an all-ages worm-charming adventure
- "Feed or weed" an edible plant scavenger hunt
- "Nature's Window" a plant-centred mindfulness journey

1 adult per 3 kids. All ages and stages welcome.

Gardening isn't always tidy, so make sure you (adults and kids alike) are wearing something you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Dirt is all part of the fun, right?

BYO water bottles. We'll provide fresh fruit but feel free to bring along snacks and other kai to share.

Free of charge. Hosted by the Dignan St Community Garden crew and volunteers.
