Love Square In Concert

VillageMusic is excited to bring recently formed LOVE SQUARE to the old Mt Eden hall for an evening of some of the most infectious jazz and soul-inspired music we've heard in a while—these guys are HOT.
This is not the first time we've had the pleasure of hearing Nick Atkinson and Finn Scholes play the old hall, but it is the first time we've welcomed Chris O’Connor (Ex Phoenix Foundation) to the Bunnings turkish rugs. To quote Nick's description of this latest musical iteration:

"A musical journey from the Bolivian highlands to New York's basement jazz clubs. From Kingston to Addis Ababa via Aotearoa. Three of the city's hottest players get busy on all their favourite axes!"
What more do we need to add? You just know this will be a fun night with some of the best musicianship New Zealand has to offer. Come prepared to tap your feet. Yeah, Baby, get on down!

The line-up is as follows:
Nick Atkinson: Tenor sax, Baritone sax, Bassoon, percussion & maybe some Bass Clarinet
Finn Scholes: trumpet, keys & box
Chris O’Connor: Drums & percussion
