Matchbox Twenty with Goo Goo Dolls

TEG Van Egmond is thrilled to announce Matchbox Twenty will make their long-awaited return to New Zealand stages for a two concert tour in February/March 2024. The tour is in support their new album “Where The Light Goes”, due out on May 26 and the band’s first new music in 11 years! The multi-Platinum, hit-making, superstars last toured our shores in 2008 – as part of their ‘Exile In Oceania’ tour – and this time Matchbox Twenty have recruited Goo Goo Dolls to perform as special guests.

Matchbox Twenty kick off their New Zealand tour in Christchurch on Thursday 29th February before heading to New Plymouth for a second final concert on Saturday 2nd March.

Souvenir Tickets are available to purchase and will be sent no later than 2 weeks prior to the show.

Accessibility Bowl of Brooklands
There are limited accessible parks which must be booked in advance with the venue. To register, please email adminnpev@npdc.govt.nz by COB Wednesday 28 February 2024.
Accessible parking is at the Gables lawn, located at the top of Brooklands Park Drive.

There is wheelchair and carer seating available on the Terrace which must be booked, alternatively wheelchairs can go anywhere within the General Admission area. The safest area for wheelchairs and mobility scooters is at the top of the bowl, by the Brooklands entrance. Please note: some sections of the Bowl are very steep and can become congested.
