Musical Production 2024

Yet another outstanding musical production hits the Ormiston Junior College stage from 6th-10th August at 7.30pm in the OJC Auditorium - Manawatere.

While licensing restrictions restrict our ability to advertise the show title publicly, this full-length musical accompanied by an outstanding staff and student combined live band is the perfect follow on from recent productions Disney's The Lion King Jr (2019), Disney's Moana Jr (2020), Shrek The Musical Jr (2021), Disney's Aladdin Jr (2022) and last year's sell-out hit, The Addams Family - School Edition (2023). Full details will be released internally via school communication channels but tickets are open to the general public as always!

The cast includes over 80 students both on and off the stage and is brought to you by creative team, Ryan Timoko-Benjamin (Director), Jen Woo (Musical Director), Kezia Jaffar & Caitlin O'Brien (Choreography), Jocelyn Scott (Vocal Coaching) & Gerrie Viljoen (Production Design). With its empowering messages of strength in diversity, celebrating identity and courage over adversity, our OJC Musical Production for 2024 is sure to stir, move and humour all who attend, as our cast navigate life and learning to bring it to the stage.

Evening performances start at 7.30pm sharp. A strict late lockout applies.
Full run time is 2 hrs 20 mins with a 15-20minute intermission break in each performance.
