My Family Tree - My Whānau and Me Book Launch

June Pitman-Hayes, Minky Stapleton, and the Scholastic Team invite you and your family to join them in celebrating the Northland launch of their latest bi-lingual children's picture book with waiata, at 1pm on Sunday 22nd September 2024, at Wairau Māori Art Gallery (within the Hundertwasser Art Centre, Town Basin). This little gem of a book is ideal for early readers from 3 to 8 years, and will be available to purchase from the venues bookshop on the day.

This is a Free event, where you and your children can come dressed up as trees (or leaves, or birds, or twigs). We will have some activity sheets for the kids to enjoy. June will be reading and singing the story/waiata, and at the end will be happy to sign books while you enjoy some light refreshments.

This will be the perfect family Sunday afternoon event to round of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori in Whangārei's Town Basin.
