No Frills

No Frills (with Franzi & Phill) is an improvised play, performed by just two actors playing multiple characters. It’s a form of improvisation called narrative long form - one story takes place over the course of the entire show.

As it’s improvised, every show is different. It’s a high-wire balancing act that has unlimited possibilities. You might get a slice of life, an absurdist comedy, a genre-based piece; what is guaranteed is that it’s an unpredictable thrill watching two people figure it all out as they go!

Franzi & Phill are passionate about capturing the shared human experience and the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with it. In No Frills, they delve into the complexities and contradictions of life, portraying moments that are both deeply relatable and wonderfully unexpected. Just like life, each performance is a unique journey where you never know what's around the corner.
