Open Mic Poetry Evening

You are warmly invited to celebrate 'German Language Week' with us and join us at our first Open Mic event.

The Goethe-Institut offers you the unique opportunity to recite your own poem or simply listen and support the speakers. Poems should contain at least one German word, but you are welcome to incorporate other languages such as Te Reo Māori, English, or French into your poem. If you wish to perform, you can sign up upon arrival or during the event.

We look forward to spending a relaxing evening together, exchanging ideas, and celebrating the diversity of languages. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and at the end of the evening, we will select a winner who will receive a great prize!
