Te Tārai Rangatira Collective is a group of Year 13 whakairo students from Ōtāhuhu College who have been carving for three years. They have a passion for the art form, traditional and contemporary.
Te Tārai Rangatira seeks to forge leaders through the traditional art form of whakairo.
Join in on the festivities and support the Ōtāhuhu College students with their passion for Whakairo (carving) at the Māngere Arts Centre, for their opening exhibition on the 17th of August at 11 AM.
