Influences from both within our New Zealand bi-cultural heritage and our early colonial garden history mix comfortably in the diverse environments of the Wellington Botanic Garden. Join the Friends of the Garden for a circular 75 to 90-minute walk from the Founders’ Entrance on Glenmore Street up to the Meteorological Service Building, then down again to the Rose Garden.
Meet at The Founders' Entrance, Glenmore Street. Cost: $5 (cash only, please).
This is part of the regular walks run by the Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden, they run twice monthly throughout the year with a different topic every time.
