To celebrate Meepleopolis's grand reopening, we’re back for another round of Roll for Romance!

This event takes the classic board game evening and gives it a speed-dating spin. From 6.30 to 8.30 pm, you’ll have the chance to meet up to 20 singles and bond over a carefully selected set of board games picked to spark conversation and laughter.

You’ll play in groups of 6, 3 guys and 3 girls, and rotate around to meet different pairs. You’ll stay with your same-gendered group throughout the night, so don’t sweat it if you’re a bit shy—bring a friend along for the ride.

First drink’s on us, and we’ve got nibbles to keep you fueled. because let’s face it, gaming is thirsty work!

After the games wrap up, feel free to hang out with your new acquaintances till 9.30. Or, if you’ve got to run, be sure to fill out one of our match cards, and we’ll connect you with your matches in the coming days.

There will be a film crew at this event, filming a NZ On Air funded docu-series called Bryn and Ku's Singles Club for The Spinoff with comedians - Brynley Stent and Kura Forrester where they travel across Aotearoa to meet new people and have wholesome conversations about dating and relationships.

The film crew is small, sensitive, and unobtrusive, and are committed to respecting the comfort and privacy of all attendees. They require written permission through release forms to film anyone attending, including those in the background. If you do not want to be filmed during the event, that is also fine.
