Secret Cinema Special Event

AroVision is excited to be hosting the launch of a new and highly entertaining New Zealand film that has been getting rave reviews internationally.

We're keeping its name hush-hush, however, as we are programming the film as part of our monthly "Secret Cinema" event.

Normally reserved for Season Pass holders only, The Secret Cinema club presents a guaranteed memorable film and discussion on the last Thursday of every month, usually at Te Auaha Theatrette.

However, for this very special and one-time occasion, we're busting out to a larger state-of-the-art venue at the College of Creative Arts Theatre at Massey University (accessed by car from either Tasman St. or Tory St.), and opening up General Admissions to all curious film lovers at an affordable price.

All proceeds go toward launching the film out into the marketplace, with an open korero to follow the screening to explore ways that a film can find an audience on very limited means. To this end, I'm delighted to be joined by film producer and Terror-Fi Film Festival director James Partridge to share his valuable insights, and your responses and ideas from the floor would be very welcome.

The film is rated "M" Contains violence, offensive language, sex scenes & drug references, so suitable for "mature" young folk as well.
